Enhancing capacity of higher education institutions

HNN.VN - That is the goal of the “Promoting the results of the Master's Program Development in Climate Change Policy and Law project” (CCP-Law Project) seminar held by Hue University on the morning of January 7th.

 The seminar featured domestic and international experts in Climate Change Policy and Law.

At the seminar, discussions focused on the objectives of the CCP-Law project, which aims to develop, pilot, and refine a master's degree program in Climate Change Policy and Law basing on innovative learning methods combined with the using of flexible and diverse educational tools. The post-graduate level training programs contribute to modernizing, enhancing accessibility, and internationalizing higher education in partner countries such as Malaysia, India, and Vietnam.

After completing the program, learners will acquire essential knowledge and skills for professional work in Climate Change Policy and Law. Furthermore, the establishment of six Climate Change Policy and Law Centers at universities across Asia will strengthen research networks, facilitate institutional initiatives, and support the process of building and setting up the policies and legal framework for environmental protection.

After four years since its launch in 2021, with support from European partners, six Asian universities have successfully developed six master's programs, which have been certified through the quality assurance systems of the respective Asian countries and meet European standards.

Hue University's master's degree in Climate Change Policy and Law is managed by the University of Law, Hue University, with admission via application review, a two-year full-time duration, instruction in both English and Vietnamese, and an annual intake of 20 students.
