Hue University meets leaders from various generations

Attending the gathering were Associate Professor Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University; leaders of member schools and affiliated units of Hue University, as well as leaders from various generations throughout its history.

Hue University was established on March 1st, 1957, as the predecessor of today’s Hue University, carrying the mission of training and providing high-quality human resources for the country. After nearly 7 decades of construction and development, Hue University has been ranked among the top educational institutes in Vietnam, notably among the top of 351- 400 Asia’s leading universities, etc.

With the achievements reaching in nearly 70 years, Hue University has been awarded numerous prestigious awards, including the First-Class Liberation Medal for the youth, students, and pupils of Hue City (1975); the Third-Class Independence Medal (1998); the Second-Class Independence Medal (2002); the First-Class Independence Medal (2012); the First-Class Labor Medal (2017); and many certificates of merit from various provinces and cities in the Central Region, Highlands, and other areas across the country.

On behalf of the leadership team of Hue University, Associate Professor Le Anh Phuong expressed deep gratitude to all of Hue University’s officers and workers throughout various generations for their contributions to the process of Hue University’s development. At the same time, he hoped that educators would continue to support and accompany with Hue University to keep on achieving many results and accomplishments that reflect the role and position of Hue University in the work of education and training.
