This was the opening activity in a series of programs to promote Vietnamese localities in Australia in 2025, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the working session, Mr. Tran Ba Phuc, Chairman of the VBAA, introduced about the Vietnamese community in Australia, the association's activities, and prominent businesses. Mr. Phuc emphasized that the Vietnamese business community in Australia always wants to contribute to the development of their homeland. He also suggested that Vietnamese localities create favorable conditions for connecting with, and supporting overseas Vietnamese businesses in exploring the investment environment and implementing procedures quickly.

“The VBAA will be an effective bridge between Australian businesses and partners and Hue City in particular, and Vietnamese localities in general, in the coming time,” affirmed Mr. Phuc.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his deep gratitude for the warm welcome that the VBAA extended to the delegation. Mr. Phuong also gave an overview of Hue City's socio-economic achievements and development potential to the business community in Australia.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong committed that the city government will always accompany and provide maximum support to investors and businesses, from the initial stages of exploring the investment environment to the commercialization of products. In particular, he emphasized the maximum convenience in administrative procedures, with a focus on being quick, transparent, and efficient. The city government is ready to have direct dialogues and meetings to listen to, and resolve any difficulties or obstacles during the investment process in Hue.
