The meeting took place following an earlier reception by Hue City leaders for Mr. Yan Jiehe, Founder of China Pacific Construction Group. This engagement marked a next step to further enhance exchanges and gain deeper insights into Hue’s development orientations, thereby providing a basis for the Group to study and formulate specific cooperation and investment plans in the coming period.

At the meeting, Mr. Tong Shaoding expressed his honor at visiting Hue to learn about and survey the local investment environment. He stated that Pacific Construction Group aspires to become a strategic partner, accompanying Hue in its medium- and long-term development strategy, particularly in the next 5-10 years. Accordingly, the Group is interested in key transport infrastructure development, smart transport connectivity, expressway projects, as well as urban development and urban upgrading initiatives.

In addition to infrastructure development, the Group also emphasizes technical solutions aimed at improving flood drainage capacity, responding to climate change, and mitigating natural disasters, major challenges facing the central region in general and Hue in particular. Mr. Tong Shaoding underscored that investment and development should follow a sustainable, long-term approach, consistent with natural conditions and the distinctive features of a heritage city.

Recognizing Hue as a city rich in historical and cultural values, Mr. Tong Shaoding noted that the urban development process should be carried out with caution, ensuring a harmonious balance between preservation and development, starting with appropriate changes and gradually improving the quality of urban spaces and residents’ living standards. Through investment cooperation, the Group hopes to contribute to fostering new growth drivers, with a view to helping to build Hue into a key economic and cultural hub of the region in particular and the country in general.

Furthermore, he also highly appreciated the Group’s capacity, experience, and reputation in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects in many countries and localities.

The Permanent Vice Chairman said that Hue is stepping up efforts to shift its growth model toward a green and sustainable approach, based on preserving and promoting the heritage values of the former imperial capital. The city aims to build Hue into a green, clean, and beautiful city with a strong cultural identity, while positioning it as a major national hub for culture, tourism, specialized healthcare, education and training, and science and technology.

Looking ahead, Hue plans to step up investment attraction in key areas, including smart urban development, technical and urban transport infrastructure, urban upgrading and expansion, as well as the development of new functional zones, high-quality tourism services, and cultural industries. The city gives special priority to strategic investors with solid financial capacity, international experience, advanced technologies, and a long-term, sustainable investment vision.

Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh affirmed that Hue consistently welcomes investors and is committed to creating favorable conditions for project research and implementation. The city pledges to accompany businesses throughout the entire investment process, with relevant departments and agencies coordinating closely to ensure timely, transparent, and efficient procedures in accordance with regulations.

City leaders expressed their hope that China Pacific Construction Group would continue to propose projects aligning with Hue’s green, smart, and sustainable urban development goals, contributing to socio-economic growth, improved quality of life, and the city’s future standing.
