This is the second Vietnam-China conversation program on journalism-communication training in the post-digital era, attracting participation from dozens of universities from both countries. Previously, on September 25th, 2024, the “First Vietnam-China Higher Education Dialogue Forum on Journalism and Communication”, organized by the Communication University of China in Beijing, drew numerous delegates from both nations.

This second conversation forum between Vietnam and China serves as an opportunity for scholars, education administrators, and media experts to share experiences, identify new trends, and discuss training approaches suited to a constantly changing reality.

The presentations and exchanges among scientists and participating units provided fresh perspectives on journalism - communication training in the post-digital era, a period in which technology is not merely a tool but a living environment, a creative environment, and a working environment for journalists. Participants analyzed challenges such as shifts in communication models, the explosion of artificial intelligence, professional ethics requirements in the digital environment, and the increasingly fierce competition in the content market. The conversation also opened major opportunities: collaborative research to innovate training programs, the application of new technologies in teaching, and increased exchanges of students, trainees, doctoral candidates, and lecturers between the two countries.
