Lively Competition on Workplace Safety Awareness

The competition performance by Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company

The event brought together five teams representing Son Ha Hue One Member Limited Liability Company, Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company, Daystar Investment and International Cooperation Co., Ltd., EB Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. (Thua Thien Hue), and Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company.

The teams competed in four rounds: Introductions, General knowledge, First aid practice and Situational problem-solving. In the Introduction round, teams used short performances to showcase their workplace safety and health practices. The general knowledge round tested their understanding of the Labour Code, the Law on Occupational Safety and Health, and related regulations.

A highlight of the competition was the practical first aid round, which featured common emergency situations such as controlling bleeding with a tourniquet, immobilising broken bones, and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on victims who had stopped breathing or whose hearts had stopped beating. In the situational problem-solving round, teams applied their knowledge to propose solutions to potential workplace hazards.

Through the competition, the organizing board hoped to make occupational safety regulations more accessible to workers and help them turn theoretical knowledge into practical skills for handling real-life situations, contributing to building a stronger culture of workplace safety.

EB Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. won first prize, while Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company took second place and Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company finished third. Two consolation prizes went to Son Ha Hue One Member Limited Liability Company and Daystar Investment and International Cooperation Co., Ltd. EB Environmental Energy Co., Ltd. also received the award for the most impressive introduction, while Daystar won the award for the most enthusiastic supporters.
