This year's ‘Hue - Culinary Capital’ event will feature a wide range of activities aimed at elevating the Bun bo Hue brand and promoting the iconic dish as one of the Ancient Capital's hallmark of cultural and tourism products.

The program is one of Hue City’s flagship international tourism promotion initiatives in 2026, contributing to realizing its vision of building the brand name ‘Hue - Land of Happiness’.

After years of implementation, the application of digital technology in Hue's tourism sector has entered a new phase of development, with transportation, dining and heritage exploration services being connected across digital platforms

To further enhance the visibility of Hue as an attractive destination, the tourism sector needs to continue to introduce innovative approaches to tourism communication, promotion, marketing, and digital transformation.

Hue is now looking to host large-scale sailing regattas as part of Hue Festival and its broader strategy for coastal tourism development.

Leveraging its brand strength as the “culinary capital”, Hue’s systematic investment in hotel and restaurant services is expected to extend visitors’ length of stay, and strengthen the attraction for the high-spending tourist segment.

Not only Vietnamese customers, Hue Thuong restaurant also attracts many Japanese diners. Along with its food, Ms. Thoi also imbues into Hue Thuong with many elements of home: from bowls, plates to simple wooden furniture, conical hats.

From a once-pristine and lesser-known destination, A Lin Stream has gradually attracted visitors, contributing to the livelihoods of local residents in the highlands.

Not overly elaborate yet remarkably refined, the harmonious and refreshing flavors of Hue's cuisine have a unique charm for many visitors when summer comes.
