Over 4 million tourist arrivals to Hue in July 2025
HNN.VN - On July 27, the Tourism Department announced that the number of tourists visiting Hue in the first 7 months of 2025 exceeded 4 million arrivals, significantly higher than that of 2024, which reached 3,9 million arrivals.

Specifically, the number of visitors to Hue in the first 7 months was estimated to have exceeded 4 million, an increase of over 71% compared to the same period last year. Among them, international visitors accounted for more than 1.2 million, up over 41% year-on-year. The number of overnight stays in Hue was estimated at nearly 1.5 million, up more than 23% compared to the same period. Total tourism revenue reached over VND 7,455 billion, an increase of nearly 56% year-on-year.
As for July, Hue’s tourism sector was estimated to have welcomed nearly 709,000 visitors, an increase of over 80% compared to the same period last year. Of these, more than 99,600 were international visitors, marking a nearly 52% year-on-year increase.
Director of the Department of Tourism, Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, stated that in 2025, Hue has the honor of being chosen to host the National Tourism Year, with numerous events and activities being organized. This can be considered a major opportunity to attract more visitors to Hue. In the remaining months of the year, the local tourism sector, along with related units, will continue to organize additional events within the framework of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival. At the same time, they will develop unique and appealing tourism products to strongly attract more tourists to the city.
