According to an information released by the Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, following a period of exterior and interior renovations to passenger carriages on Hue - Da Nang route of the “Connecting Central Heritage” train, the upgraded train will officially debut on March 26, 2026.

The first charter flight is expected in late March or April 2026, with Hue and its Korean partners planning to launch the inaugural Hue-South Korea charter flight in 2026, followed by efforts to establish regular scheduled service.

According to the information announced on the afternoon of February 14 by the Department of Tourism, the number of hotel bookings for the 9-day Binh Ngo Lunar New Year holiday is projected to increase by 53% year-on-year.

From February 7th to March 8th, 2026 (from the 20th day of the twelfth lunar month of the Year of the Snake to the 20th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Horse), all bus terminals in Hue City enter their peak period to meet the surge in travel demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet).

The move aims to facilitate access to heritage for residents and students, and to promote sustainable tourism demand.
