Hue’s Tourism Revenue in the First Two Months Increases Nearly 99%

HNN.VN - According to statistics from the Department of Tourism released on the morning of March 1, the number of tourists to Hue in the first two months continued to rise sharply, estimated at over 1.2 million arrivals, while the number of visitors to the city in February, 2026 alone witnessed an increase of nearly 72%. Especially, the total revenue from tourism rose significantly compared to the previous year.

 Tourists coming to Hue in February 2026

Specifically, in the first two months, the number of tourists to Hue rose nearly 48% year-on-year, reaching an estimated of over 1.2 million arrivals. In February alone, the total number of visitors to Hue was estimated as 712,480 arrivals, reaching an increase of nearly 72% year-on-year.

International arrivals to Hue continued to rise. In the first two months of 2026, the city welcomed over 533,000 foreign visitors, up over 49% year-on-year. France remained the leading source market for international tourists to Hue, followed by the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan (China), and Poland.

The number of overnight visitors also recorded positive growth. Total overnight stays in the first two months reached nearly 473,000, an increase of over 21% compared to the same period last year.

Notably, tourism revenue in the first two months of the year reached nearly VND 2.97 trillion, up almost 99% year-on-year. February alone generated nearly VND 1.669 trillion, an increase of over 121% compared with the same period last year.
