On the morning of June 8, the Department of Education and Training held a training conference on examination administration procedures for the 2026 National High School Graduation Examination for school administrators and teachers serving as heads and deputy heads of the examination centers, and secretaries from 37 examination venues across the city.

Though in his seventies, Excellent Artist Tran Thao (Phu Xuan, Hue) has never spent a single day without nha nhac (court music). He teaches it in classrooms, passing on his craft in his small house and maintaining a nha nhac club for over three decades now. Every year, he travels to An Giang, carrying with him the “music of the past” to share with others.

On the afternoon of May 14, at Ho Chi Minh Museum, the Young Pioneer Council of Hue City organized a flower-offering ceremony, a merit-reporting ceremony to Uncle Ho, and a commendation program honoring outstanding teachers as Young Pioneer Team Leaders and exemplary children of the city in 2026.

No longer restricted to classroom settings, screen-based cooking instruction allows teachers to share culinary skills with learners anytime and anywhere.

On April 29th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training organized the primary-level STEM Festival for the 2025-2026 school year, attracting a large number of students and teachers. ​

On the morning of April 3, Hue Red Cross Society held a first aid training session for preschool teachers in An Cuu Ward.

A ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27th, 1946 – March 27th, 2026), organized by the Department of Culture and Sports, was held on the afternoon of March 27 at the City Culture and Cinema Center. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, attended and extended congratulations and encouragement.

On the morning of March 27, Thuan Hoa Ward People’s Committee hosted the 1st Youth and Children’s Creativity Contest 2026, attracting the participation of a great number of delegators, teachers, children and their parents in the area.

On March 14, in Da Nang City, the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee and Honda Vietnam Company, organized the closing and awarding ceremony for the “Traffic Safety” Contest for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held for primary, secondary, and high school students and teachers nationwide.

At the end of each year, together with many medical schools across the country, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, holds the “Macchabée Festival - Gratitude to Those Who Donate Their Bodies to Science”. Held annually, the event has become a meaningful tradition for medical and pharmacy students to express their deep gratitude and respect to the “silent teachers” - those who have chosen to dedicate their bodies to the advancement of knowledge and the preservation of life.
