On the occasion of November 20 this year, the City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 12 outstanding individuals from educational institutions for their significant contributions to teaching, managing, and coaching gifted students in the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.

On November 18, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Trung visited and extended congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and teachers of Hue University and the Department of Education and Training on the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20/11/1982 - 20/11/2025).

On the familiar green chalkboard, under the skillful hands of Ms. Le Thi Loc Phuong, an art teacher from Tu Ha Primary School No. 1 (Huong Tra Ward), the heritage sites of Hue such as Ngu Phung Pavilion, Thien Mu Pagoda’s bell tower, or the graceful curve of Truong Tien Bridge gradually come to life. Each delicate stroke of white and colored chalk transforms the classroom chalkboard into a lively painting, evoking an image of Hue that is both serene and poetic.

On the morning of October 3, over 3,300 students in the city area officially participated in the City-level Examination to Select Excellent High School Students for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. This activity is held annually to identify and nurture talented students, while also assessing the quality of learning and teaching in schools.

On October 3, the Department of Education and Training organized a training conference to enhance professional capacity to meet the demands of educational innovation; and provide guidance on early detection, early intervention, and inclusive education for preschool administrators and teachers in the city.

On September 30th, the Ministry of Education and Training organized an online training workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of staff and teachers responsible for child protection in the online environment. In Hue, the workshop took place at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School.

In the journey to spread and preserve the value of Hue Singing (Ca Hue) for both today and the future, along with artisans, there are also music teachers in schools. They are considered as emissaries, who contribute to spreading the famous art form of Hue to students, ensuring its continuity for generations to come.

For 20 years devoted to the teaching podium, Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Phuong (born in 1983, music teacher at Phan Sao Nam Secondary School) has maintained her dedication as she did when she first graduated.

A training course on Hue Singing (Ca Hue) for secondary school music teachers in Hue City, organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, opened on the morning of August 23 at Hue Intermediate School of Culture and Arts.
