In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

On the afternoon of December 15th, at the conference hall of Hue City People’s Committee, Vietnam Airlines (Vietnam National Airlines Corporation) presented financial and in-kind support of 1 billion VND and 2,000 warm blankets in total to Hue City to help address damage caused by recent storms and flooding.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

Following Directive No. 234 dated November 30th, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister on launching and implementing “Quang Trung Campaign” to urgently rebuild and repair homes for the families whose houses were damaged during recent natural disasters in the central provinces, on the morning of December 6th, at Khe Tre Commune, Hue City People’s Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony to begin the construction of new homes for residents whose houses had collapsed or been severely damaged.

On December 6th, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) provided financial support to help residents of Hue City recover from the damage caused by the recent floods. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, received and worked with the delegation.

Responding to the Call for support from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to help the People of Hue City overcome the consequences of natural disaster, on December 4, representatives of Truong Hai Group Joint Stock Company (THACO group) visited the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to present a donation of 2 billion VND.

On the afternoon of December 2, Mr. Hoang Hai Minh, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee, held an official meeting with ISET organization (The U.S), led by Mr. Michael Szönyi, Director of the Climate Resilience Alliance, Z. Zurich Foundation, and Ms. Karen Mac Clune, Executive Director of ISET in the U.S.

On the afternoon of November 26th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the People’s Committee of Hung Loc Commune, organized a program providing medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine to residents affected by the prolonged flooding. This humanitarian activity aims to help people quickly stabilize their physical and mental well-being and proactively prevent diseases in the post-disaster period.

In response to the appeal from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City to support local residents in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, on November 25, representatives of Wilmar CLV Vietnam Group visited the Committee to hand over a donation of 3.2 billion VND.

On the afternoon of November 24th, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee and Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee - Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, together with leaders of Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee of Hue City, received disaster-relief support from the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB).
