Presenting gifts to agent orange victims in A Luoi 4 Commune

Presenting wheelchairs to people affected by Agent Orange

At the program, leaders of Hue City Military Command, representatives of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of Hue City Party Committee, and participating organizations presented 106 forms of assistance. These included gifts for 30 recipients, wheelchairs for 40 recipients, livelihood support in the form of piglets for 30 families, and fruit tree seedlings for six families. All beneficiaries were Agent Orange victims facing particularly difficult circumstances and living in A Luoi 4 Commune.

Colonel Ha Van Ai, Deputy Political Commissar of Hue City Military Command, personally inquired about the beneficiaries' health, offered encouragement, and expressed his sympathy for the difficulties faced by Agent Orange victims in A Luoi 4 Commune. He also said that Hue City Military Command is implementing the community engagement initiative ‘Hue City Military Command Stands Alongside and Shares the Pain of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims in the City, 2026 - 2030 and beyond’. The initiative represents a practical expression of the noble qualities of ‘Uncle Ho's Soldiers’ and reflects Hue City Military Command's commitment to supporting Agent Orange/Dioxin victims and their families.

The assistance presented at the program reflects the care and sense of responsibility of officers and soldiers of the city's armed forces and participating organizations toward Agent Orange/Dioxin victims. The support is intended to give victims and their families additional strength to overcome difficulties and gradually build more stable lives in A Luoi 4 Commune.
