On December 27th, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, in collaboration with “For Green Future” Foundation (Vingroup), held the 2024 Vietnam ASEAN Eco-schools awards ceremony in Hanoi.

On December 24, Korean Institute of Traditional Culture Research and ORIHERI announced that Nguyen Ngoc Phon, a 23-year-old representative from Hue (of Doan Trang Embroidery and Sewing Service & Trade Co., Ltd.), surpassed more than 2,000 contestants worldwide to secure third prize at the World Grand Prix Supreme Model Contest and Seoul Beauty Fashion Festival 2024 (World Champion Model and Beauty Fashion Festival in Seoul - Korea 2024).

On the evening of November 22, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Hue University organized the final round of the 13th “National English Contest for Students - Star Awards 2024” at Hue cluster.

At the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards, musician Le Quang Vu (born in 1968) with his Symphony Poetry “Green City along the Perfume River” won the A prize in the music category. That being said, he is also known by the musicians in particular and music lovers in general as the “conductor” of Hue Brass Orchestra.

On October 5th, the Vietnam Digital Media Association and VietTimes e-magazine held the Vietnam Digital Awards 2024 ceremony in Hanoi. Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) was honored in the category of Outstanding digital transformation by public service and business units with its solution “Applying digital technology to conserve and promote the values of Hue’s heritage.”

Although he did not study art from a young age, Le Trung Kien quickly became one of the standout names among the young artists of the ancient capital city. Making an impression at the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Art Awards, Le Trung Kien, born in 1993, is one of the “young factors” that the “pillars” of the ancient capital’s artistic community believe will be the “sweet fruit” of Thua Thien Hue’s fine arts.

In the framework of the honoring ceremony of the 3rd Top Vietnam Industries 4.0 Awards held in Hanoi recently, Hue Monuments Conservation Center was honored in the category: Top Creative and Innovative Science/Technology Organizations/Businesses.

On the afternoon of September 25, the Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor “Exemplary citizens of Thua Thien Hue province” in 2023 and award various state-level awards to groups and individuals.

On the morning of September 18, the 7th Ancient Capital Literature and Arts Awards (2018 – 2023) was held at the Cultural and Cinema Center of Thua Thien Hue Province.

Vietnam has continued to be named as “Asia’s Leading Destination”, “Asia’s Leading Heritage Destination in 2024”, and “Asia’s Leading Natural Destination in 2024”, together with many other prestigious awards.

Travel trends often change and the demand for quality is increasing. Therefore, striving for winning awards is also a way to further improve the quality of Hue tourism.
