On August 15, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, in coordination with Hue University, held a ceremony to award scholarships to students facing difficult circumstances in the city.

On June 30, Hue Junior School of Culture and Arts awarded diplomas to 73 full-time students of the 3-year program (2023 - 2026 course) and of the 2-year program (2024 - 2026 course).

On the afternoon of June 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded graduation degrees to more than 1,100 new doctors, pharmacists and bachelor's graduates from full-time program 2026. In celebration of the 136th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on May 18, the Nguyen Chi Thanh Merit Scholarship Fund under the Hue City Association for Promoting Education held a ceremony to award scholarships to students with outstanding achievements in the 2025-2026 National Excellent Student Competition. The award ceremony took place at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted.

On May 7, the University of Law, Hue University held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor’s degrees to 821 full-time students in the 46th cohort majoring in Law and Economic Law.

The National Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Club Championship 2026 officially opened on the morning of May 2 at the Square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. On this occasion, outstanding athletes and coaches were awarded prestigious honors by the State.

Hue chess has long been renowned for its famous female players, such as Nguyen Thi Thuan Hoa, Hoang Thi Bao Tram, Hoang Thi Nhu Y, and Vo Thi Kim Phung, etc. After these outstanding players retired or moved to compete for other localities, Hue chess recently received good news at the beginning of 2026 as 18-year-old Nguyen Ha Khanh Linh was awarded the title of FIDE Master by the World Chess Federation.

On April 18, the University of Education, Hue University, held a ceremony to award AMA scholarships with a total value of nearly VND 1.3 billion, funded by AMA Scholarship Fund, to 30 underprivileged students with outstanding academic efforts.
