On January 23rd, the Department of Finance, in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Luxembourg Project Management Unit, the Technical Assistance Office of Project VIE/039, and Musa Pacta Joint Stock Company, organized a workshop to assess the results and development potential of the banana value chain in Hue City.

Over the two days of December 11 and 12, Hue City mobilized forces and vehicles to implement peak period patrol, inspection, and control to combat illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; while also assessing the national defense and security situation in the city's waters.

From December 5th to 7th, at UK Academy Hue, the Department of Education and Training (DOET) organized training sessions on digital transformation in teaching, assessment, and school management, focusing on the use of the LMS360 system and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational activities.

Following the directive from the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, on November 10, Hue City Civil Defense Steering Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of wards and communes in the city to conduct surveys to mark the highest flood traces during the flooding event, from October 25 to November 3, within the premises of offices, schools, low-lying routes, public works, and flood warning towers in the local areas.

On the morning of October 3, over 3,300 students in the city area officially participated in the City-level Examination to Select Excellent High School Students for the academic year 2025 - 2026, held at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. This activity is held annually to identify and nurture talented students, while also assessing the quality of learning and teaching in schools.

That was the theme of the national scientific conference organized by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City, in coordination with relevant agencies, on the afternoon of September 25th in Hue City. The conference aimed to provide a deeper understanding of Hue’s core values, assess its achievements, analyze challenges, and propose strategic, breakthrough solutions for developing Hue into a green, smart, and sustainable city.

To ensure good preparation for the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2025 - 2026, linked to the 80th Anniversary Ceremony of the Traditional Day of Education sector, held online nationwide on the morning of September 5, the Department of Education and Training (DoET) established inspection teams on September 4. These teams were tasked with assessing the preparation and guiding the organization of the new academic year's opening ceremony at educational institutions across the city.

On August 21, at Hue High School for the Gifted, University of Sciences, Hue University, the Department of Education and Training organized a training conference on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and assessing English language at the primary level.

Though his life just lasted only 49 years, with his talent and dedication, the historical figure Dang Huy Tru (1825 - 1874) has left behind a rich legacy. As historian Le Van Lan assessed: “Compared to other Confucian scholars of his time, the accomplishments Dang Huy Tru left behind were not only outstanding but also exceptional”.

On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).
