On March 17 and 18, Hue Odonto-Stomatology Hospital, in collaboration with Nuoy Reconstructive International (the USA), organized a reconstructive plastic surgery program, providing treatment opportunities for many patients with maxillofacial deformities while opening up prospects for international cooperation in specialized healthcare.

On the morning of February 27, Hue Central Hospital held a ceremony marking the 71st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors’ Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2026).

The year 2026, the first year of implementing Resolution 72-NQ/TW on breakthrough solutions for protecting and improving public health, marks a new turning point for healthcare in Hue City. Building on the strong foundation of Hue Central Hospital, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University; and a primary healthcare system undergoing comprehensive reform, Hue is steadily affirming its position as a center for advanced, specialized medical care, with a vision toward becoming a regional hub in Southeast Asia.

“Promoting the value of Hue’s local specialties through experiential tourism” was the theme of a specialized workshop organized by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support over 2 days, December 13 and 14.

At the 28th specialized session of Hue City People's Council, term VIII (2021-2026), held on the afternoon of November 18, the City People's Council conducted the consolidation of several important positions within the City People's Committee. With a 100% approval rate from all delegates present, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, was elected as the Chairman of Hue City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

On October 18, Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) surgery”. The event aimed to exchange, update professional knowledge, and share practical experience regarding the technique of coronary artery bypass surgery on a beating heart - a modern method that helps reduce complications and shorten the recovery time for patients.

On October 11 and 12, the Cardiovascular Center - Hue Central Hospital organized a specialized workshop titled “Optimizing RF energy ablation in the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias”. The event was part of a series of continuous medical education (CME) activities, aimed at enhancing professional capacity and standardizing cardiac electrophysiology skills for doctors both inside and outside the hospital.

On August 15, at the auditorium of Hue Science High school for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training of Hue City organized a specialized training session titled “AI application in teaching, testing, and evaluating English language courses” for teachers from middle schools and high schools in the area.

With a total score of 29.25 in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Tran Gia Phuc, a 12th grade student from Math-specialized Class 1 at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, achieved the highest score for Combination B00 in Hue City and ranked among the top four highest scorers of this block nationwide.

On August 2, the Cardiovascular Center at Hue Central Hospital (HCH) hosted a specialized workshop titled "Ablation of Complex Arrhythmias Using RF (Radiofrequency) Technique". The event gathered numerous leading experts in the fields of interventional cardiology and arrhythmias from hospitals across the country.
