Vietnamese language training linked with specialized studies for Lao students

Honoring outstanding Lao students

Over the past academic year, the college carried out the reception and management of Lao students in accordance with regulations, meeting and exceeding its assigned targets while ensuring all benefits, policies, and study and living conditions for the students. All students taking the Vietnamese language proficiency assessment achieved Level 4 or higher, making them eligible to proceed to specialized studies at universities and colleges in the city.

In the 2026 - 2027 academic year, the College of Hue is expected to receive 94 Lao students under scholarship programs from 6 provinces in Southern Central Laos, including 4 postgraduate students. Student recruitment will be carried out in coordination with Lao localities, with the aim of completing the admission process before October 30, 2026.

In terms of training, the college will continue updating its Vietnamese language curriculum and textbooks toward a more application-oriented approach, while enhancing the use of information technology and hands-on experiential activities.

On this occasion, the College of Hue honored and presented awards to the team that won the Second prize in the final round of the National Vietnamese-Language Speaking Contest for Foreigners - Da Nang 2026.
