In the National Excellent Student Examination for the 2025-2026 academic year, Hue City won four First Prizes. Notably, Geography recorded its first-ever First Prize winner, while French returned to the highest podium position after many years, earning two First Prizes. In the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam, Dau Nguyen Thai Binh, a student of the Math Major 1 class at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, emerged as the top-scorer in Hue City and ranked fourth nationwide. His impressive achievement is the result of a disciplined, scientific, and persistent learning journey.

According to statistics released by Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, five of their students were among the top-scorers of Hue City in this year’s 2025 National High School Graduation Exam.

For the first time, Hue City is in the top 10 localities with the highest score distribution in the national high school graduation exam. This result is a clear evidence of the correct and sustainable direction of Hue City's education sector in recent years.
