On March 26th, favorable weather drew large numbers of residents and tourists to visit and experience Hue Monuments Complex during the free admission program for Vietnamese citizens on the occasion of Hue Liberation Day.

On the morning of March 26th, in Chan May - Lang Co Commune (Hue City), FUTA Land Real Estate Joint Stock Company held the groundbreaking ceremony for Chan May Social Housing Project (located in Chan May Urban Area, Lot No. 8). The event was held to mark the 51st anniversary of Hue Liberation Day (March 26th, 1975 - March 26th, 2026).

In celebration of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2026), the 51st anniversary of Hue’s Liberation Day, and the successful election of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, many schools across the city have organized vibrant activities, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm in learning and self-improvement among students.

On the morning of March 6, the People's Committee of A Luoi 4 Commune held a ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of A So’s Liberation Day (March 11, 1966 – March 11, 2026).

On the afternoon of March 25, Hue City General Library held an opening ceremony of the exhibition on displaying documents on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Hue City (March 26, 1975 – March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 – April 2025).

Among the series of projects that have been broken ground, commenced, and completed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City's Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025), and the 95th anniversary of the founding of Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025), perhaps the technical opening ceremony of the project of Nguyen Hoang Street and the bridge over the Huong River on March 26 is the most anticipated event by Hue people.

On the morning of March 23, at Trinh Cong Son Park, Hue City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the 3rd Hue City Traditional Boat Racing Competition, aiming to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnamese Sports sector, and the 49th anniversary of Thua Thien Hue's liberation day. This is also one of the activities responding to Hue Festival 2024.

In the first two days of Hung Kings Commemoration Day, anniversaries of Liberation Day (April 30), and International Labor Day (May 1), Hue tourism welcomed over 30.000 tourist arrivals, all hotels in the provincial area worked at full capacity.
