This activity serves not only as an occasion to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs, but also helps educate about patriotism, national pride, and the moral traditions of ‘drinking water, remembering its source’, and ‘repaying the debt of gratitude’ among officials, Party members, and people from all walks of life, especially the younger generations.

Over the years, alongside the focus on socio-economic development, Hue City has consistently prioritized the work of gratitude and caring for people with meritorious service to the revolution. Many social welfare policies and support policies for families of martyrs, war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious service have been carried out effectively. The city also regularly organizes visits, presents gifts, and renovates memorial sites dedicated to martyrs, contributing to spreading the nation’s tradition of humanity and compassion.
