Before visiting policy beneficiary families, the delegation visited and extended well wishes to Mr. Nguyen Khoa Diem, former Politburo member and former Head of the Central Ideology and Culture Commission.
At the meeting, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet was pleased to share the country’s notable achievements in recent times. He emphasized that the current requirement is to effectively implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, in which localities must develop concrete and practical action programs, avoiding overlap and duplication.

The delegation then visited two policy beneficiary families in Vy Da Ward, including Mrs. Phan Thi Tinh (wife of a martyr), and Mr. Le Thoan (a war invalid, category 4/4). At each visit, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet kindly inquired about their health and daily lives, expressing deep gratitude for the immense sacrifices and contributions the policy beneficiary families made to the revolutionary cause.
At the hall of My Thuong Ward People's Committee, the delegation presented 200 gift packages to policy beneficiary families, poor households, households in difficult circumstances, workers, and laborers. Each gift package is valued at 2.5 million VND.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet emphasized that although 51 years have passed, the heroic memories of the Great Spring Victory of 1975 remain vivid in the hearts of every Vietnamese citizen. In that historic triumph, Hue proudly stood as one of the localities liberated early, on March 26, 1975, making an important contribution to the final advance to liberate Saigon, and realize the cause of national reunification.

While the gifts are modest in material value, they represent the deep affection and gratitude of the Party and State leaders, as well as the whole society, toward policy beneficiary families and meritorious persons.
On this occasion, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet wished the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, comrades, and their families good health, longevity, and happiness with their loved ones; and that they continue to be bright examples for the younger generations to follow.
