“Thuan Hoa Ward needs to take the initiative in researching planning options and proposing investments, while also inviting businesses to participate in developing public amenities, services, and tourism. The proposals should link new development investments with urban renovation, and assess the feasibility of implementation during the current term,” emphasized Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of the City People’s Committee.

On the afternoon of September 26, at Le Duc Anh Secondary School (Chan May - Lang Co Commune), the For Highland and Island Youth Fund and the ‘For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa’ Club, in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, held a ceremony to award scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 academic year to ethnic minority students and students in coastal and island areas across the city.

Drawing on the woodblock prints of traditional Vietnamese folk painting genres such as Dong Ho, Hang Trong, Kim Hoang, and Lang Sinh, the Woodblock Art Experience Space at 23-25 Le Loi Street brings visitors closer to traditional art. Beyond contemplating the artworks, visitors can try printing and coloring the woodblocks while discovering the stories and cultural values behind each piece.

On August 23, in Huong An and Hoa Chau wards, Hue City Women’s Union, in coordination with the Children of Viet Nam (COV), organized a program to provide livelihood models for single mothers and scholarships and learning support packages for children facing difficult circumstances in the two wards.

On the morning of August 1, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh, together with Standing Committee Member of the City Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Hoang Hai Minh, conducted an on-site inspection of construction progress at the boarding inter-level schools (primary and secondary level) in the communes of A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4. The book titled ‘Le Trai Dang Van Hoa - His life and legacy’ is a curated collection of valuable research papers and academic presentations presented in Hue in October 2025.

Nestled within the Hoa My Resistance Zone (Phong Dien Ward), a permanent exhibition space has officially opened its doors to visitors. Images and artifacts on display vividly recreate Hue’s land of rich revolutionary traditions within the space "Hoa My - where history left its golden traces".

“Books and Ao Dai - Nurturing Intellect and Honoring Vietnamese Identity” was the theme of an exhibition held by the City Library on the morning of July 9 at No. 29A Le Quy Don St. (Thuan Hoa Ward).

On the evening of July 7, Hue Museum of Fine Arts officially opened the performance and exhibition program titled “The Knowledge of Tailoring and Wearing Hue Ao Dai” at Diem Phung Thi Art Center (No.17 Le Loi St., Thuan Hoa Ward).
