On the morning of December 25 in Ho Chi Minh City, Kim Long Motor Hue Joint Stock Company and Con Dao Group signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement to supply electric vehicles, including urban electric buses, for public transportation services in the Con Dao special administrative zone.

On December 18, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had an official meeting with a delegation from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, led by Mr. Liu Shih-Chung, Head of the Office’s Representative.

On the afternoon of December 16th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Khac Toan held a reception and working session with a delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. (Carlsberg) to discuss cooperation, promote collaboration, and outline future investment development directions.

On the afternoon of December 9, in Hue City, the Border Guard Commands of three provinces and cities: Hue, Da Nang, and Quang Ngai (Vietnam), held the 19th annual talks in 2025 with the Military Command of Sekong Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic).

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.

On December 4th, the University of Sciences, Hue University, in coordination with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University Hanoi, organized the 2025 Dialogue Program under the theme: “Cooperation in Journalism - Communication Training in the Post-Digital Context.”

More than just a heritage city, Hue is increasingly becoming a “regional diffusion axis”, linking economic corridors and opening opportunities for cooperation and sustainable investment for the Central region.

In the context of the increasingly extensive development of Vietnam-Japan relations, local cooperation has become an important driving force that fosters strong and lasting ties between the two countries. For Hue - Vietnam’s unique heritage city - Japan is not only a partner in economy, trade, and tourism, but also a special companion in the journey of cultural exchange, people-to-people engagement, and sustainable development rooted in heritage values.

On November 19, Hue City Department of Health held a working session with a survey delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to study and collect information for the development of the project of “Central Vietnam Healthcare Network Development”. This is considered an important initial step toward forming a large-scale cooperation project aimed at strengthening the healthcare system capacity in the Central region.

International cooperation programs in the health sector have brought practical benefits to Hue City, achieving “three goals with one action”: creating opportunities for medical staff to improve their skills; helping thousands of patients access advanced treatment techniques; and strengthening the reputation of medical institutions.
