On the morning of January 11, Hue Department of Health, in coordination with the Central Committee of Vietnam Young Physicians Association and Viettel Hue, organized a program providing free medical check-ups, health consultations, medicine distribution, and gifts for policy families and disadvantaged households in Hoa Chau Ward.

In the not-too-distant future, the more than 120-hectare area south of Hue city center will move beyond being a newly developed site to take shape as a “university city” - a space for living, learning, and creativity, gathering the intellectual elite of Central Vietnam.

On the morning of December 27, the Center for Rural Development in Central Vietnam (CRD), University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, celebrated its 30th anniversary (1995 - 2025).

On the morning of December 20, at Hue Central Hospital, Vietnam Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (VASLD), and Vietnamese Society of Hepato Biliary Pancreatic Surgery (VSHBPS), in collaboration with Hue Central Hospital, held the opening ceremony of the 18th National Conference of VASLD & VSHBPS with the theme “Promotion of developing for technical progress”, and simultaneously launched the Minimally Invasive Treatment for HBP Chapter of VASLD.

On December 2 and 3, a working delegation from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and presented financial support to South Central provinces to overcome damage after typhoons and floods.

From November 24th to 28th, Hue Central Hospital (HCH) Base 2 cooperated with the Medical Development Assistance in Vietnam (ADM-VN) Organization - France to provide free eye examinations and eyeglasses for local residents. This is the third time the program is implemented.

On the afternoon of November 26th, the Youth Union of Hue Central Hospital (HCH), in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association and the People’s Committee of Hung Loc Commune, organized a program providing medical examinations, health consultations, and free medicine to residents affected by the prolonged flooding. This humanitarian activity aims to help people quickly stabilize their physical and mental well-being and proactively prevent diseases in the post-disaster period.

On November 20, Hue City Red Cross launched the program of presenting 1,000 gifts to households affected and damaged by the recent exceptionally severe floods. The funding was allocated by Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee through the “Joining Hands to Overcome Floods” program, aiming to promptly help residents stabilize their lives after the disaster.

On November 19, Hue City Department of Health held a working session with a survey delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) to study and collect information for the development of the project of “Central Vietnam Healthcare Network Development”. This is considered an important initial step toward forming a large-scale cooperation project aimed at strengthening the healthcare system capacity in the Central region.

On the morning of November 18th, a working delegation from the Central Youth Union, led by Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, and First Secretary of the Central Youth Union, visited Hue City to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20th) and to give gifts to children and youth affected by the flood in Hue City.
