The Vietnam Buddhist Academy (VBA) in Hue began the new year 2025 with a meaningful event - Welcoming His Excellency Sandeep Arya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam for an official visit.

On January 2, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Truong Luu had a meeting and working with Mr. Sandeep Arya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Vietnam.

On December 27, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu had an official meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi.

On the afternoon of November 25th, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong met and worked with the delegations of Ambassadors from New Zealand, Canada, Norway, and Switzerland to Vietnam.

On November 15, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong hosted a courtesy reception for H.E. Hilde Solbakken, the Kingdom of Norway's Ambassador to Vietnam.

Launched in April, the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest attracted 16.358 entries from 120 primary schools, secondary schools, and high schools in the provincial area.

On the afternoon of October 28th, Hue Tourism College, in collaboration with Cholimex Foods, held the fifth season of the “Search for Hue Culinary Ambassadors” competition, themed “Hue cuisine - Convergence of essence,” for the year 2024.

On October 25, a representative from Thua Thien Hue General Library announced that the 2024 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, has concluded and awarded prizes. Thua Thien Hue has won 3 prizes this year.

On July 20th, the provincial Red Cross Society, Oxfam in Vietnam, and the New Zealand Embassy in Hanoi organized a summary workshop for the project “Post-COVID-19 livelihood recovery for female farmers in particularly difficult and for difficult communes in Thua Thien Hue.” The event was attended by Ms. Caroline Rachel Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.

On July 18th, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh, had a courtesy meeting with H.E. Caroline Beresford, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam.
