On the afternoon of July 10th, the Department of Finance, in coordination with Luxembourg Project Management Board, Project Technical Support Office, and Mekong Herbals Joint Stock Company (Mekong Herbals), held a contract signing ceremony for the production and consumption of organic standard hibiscus flowers with households in Phong Thai and Phong Dien Wards.

More than 100 works by 41 renowned artists inspired by the literary legacy of Nguyen Huy Thiep were unveiled to the Hue public on the afternoon of July 5th at the Lan Vien Co Tich space (95-96-98 Bach Dang Street, Phu Xuan Ward).

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The communal house faces a field, so in this season of the year it’s pervaded by the aroma of ripe rice. I’m standing at the gate of the Van Xa communal house (Huong Van Ward, Huong Tra Town) beholding the yellow paddy field admiring our ancestors who chose this place for the house. Twice a year, the ancient communal house reflects itself on the field, forming a very beautiful rustic sight.

On the morning of June 23, the Action to Community Development Center (ACDC Institute) in collaboration with the City Department of Health and the Association for Persons with Disabilities - the City Association for the Protection of the Disabled and Orphans, co-organized the 2025 event titled “Run with People with Disabilities: No Distance - No Limits” at Thuan An Beach (Thuan An Ward, Thuan Hoa District).

On June 18, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan Ward (Hue City) held a program to present gifts to students overcoming difficulties to achieve excellent academic results in the 2024 - 2025 academic year.

Phuoc Tich is an ancient village located in Phong Hoa Ward, Phong Dien Town, Hue City. The village was established in 1470. Though small, Phuoc Tich boasts 12 river wharfs, symbolizing the 12 founding families who first settled the land. Along with the founding of the village, migrants from Đàng Ngoài (Outer Realm) who came to this land to make a living also brought with them the traditional craft of pottery.

On May 27th, Cotana Capital Real Estate Investment and Development Joint Stock Company held the inauguration and handover ceremony of the W2 - West Sky apartment building, part of phase 2 of the Thuy Van Complex, located in Zone B of the An Van Duong new urban area (Ecogarden), Thuy Van Ward, Thuan Hoa District.

More than a month of being carried out, the archaeological excavation has revealed the foundation of Dai Cung Mon - the main gate of the Forbidden City of the Nguyen Dynasty. This is an important step forward in reconstructing the architectural symbol destroyed by war nearly 80 years ago.
