On the afternoon of July 2, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with General Nguyen Chi Thanh Museum and his family to inaugurate the museum, officially open to visitors. The museum is located at 144 Dang Thai Than, Hue City.

It is forecasted that the end of 2022 would be the earliest possible time for regular European and North American tourists to return to the country; however, Hue has welcomed its first groups of visitors just recently.

On the afternoon of June 10, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Phuong had a meeting session with the delegation from Sekong, Laos led by Leklay Sivilay, Secretary of the Party Committee and Governor of Sekong province on the occasion of the working visit to Thua Thien Hue province.

On May 21, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Le Truong Luu; Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong received Mr. Marc E. Knapper, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam; Ms. Marie C. Damour, Consul General of the US in Ho Chi Minh city; Ms. Monica Damberg – Ott, Cultural Attaché of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam; together with cultural assistants and receptionists of the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh city on the occasion of their visit and work in Thua Thien Hue.

Through the first 3 days of the holidays of April 30 and May 1 this year (April 29 to May 1), Hue welcomed about 30,000 visitor arrivals. Hue tourism has been really bustling in recent days.

Since the pandemic, the power and role of this technology has been increasingly recognized. What I and many others could cleary see was the presence of policies to promote tourism, how effective the efforts were to stimulate the influx of tourist and of course, we feel that people are gradually preparing for more trips to satisfy expectations on digital technology platforms.
