“Hue has more than just heritages…”

HNN.VN - As part of the series of activities to respond to Hue Festival Week 2022, from June 20 to 26, the Provincial Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Hexa Media Company organized a media trip called "Visit Hue".

With the message of "Hue has more than just heritages...", the media trip named "Visit Hue" is a key communication activity, with the aims of promoting tourism "elites"; inspiring and attracting domestic and international visitors, promoting the market to recover tourism activities, developing new products; as well as attracting investors to Hue to exploit and develop the smokeless industry, etc.

The "Visit Hue" media trip has built a special journey for travel bloggers namely Ngo Tran Hai An, Tran Dang Dang Khoa, Ly Thanh Co, Le Ha Truc, Lo Huu Duc Anh, Binh An, actor; Monsimi, stylist; Hachi Hachi (Ngo Huy Hoa), Vlogger; Vu Bao Khanh, photographer; and Melon, Tiktoker.

These special visitors have not only visited familiar sights in a different way, but also together experienced new tourism destinations and products, including SUP rowing on Tam Giang Lagoon, viewing Hue Ancient Capital from giant hot air balloons, going on a zipline or highwire at Thanh Tan Hot Springs, and discovering the mysterious Ru Cha in late afternoon, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuc, Director of the Provincial Department of Tourism shared: "The tourism industry wishes that visitors would have the opportunity to understand Hue in the most comprehensive way, as a special cultural and tourist center in Vietnam and in the world; a city of festival; a friendly destination, with safe adaptation, flexibility and constant development; a place offering to visitors full of great experiences, from the idyll to the luxury at international level; and preserving traditional culture while keeping up with the development trend…”.

The number of staying guests reached approximately 45,000 arrivals, up more than 15% year on year.

More Visitors to Benefit from Free and Discounted Access to Hue Relics from 2026

From early 2026, in addition to maintaining current ticket prices, Hue City will significantly expand the groups eligible for free and discounted entrance fees to heritage sites within the Hue Complex of Monuments. The move aims to facilitate access to heritage for residents and students, and to promote sustainable tourism demand.
