Hue Heritage attracting nearly 13,500 visitors on May 1
In addition to the attraction of cultural and heritage products, in this year's holiday, Hue tourism organizes many attractive activities and events, such as "Thuan An - Call of the Sea", "A Luoi highland festival", the Festival "Hue - Capital of Gastronomy", the Music program "Welcome Seagame 31"; Night activities in the Imperial City night street zone, pedestrian street Pham Ngu Lao, Chu Van An, Vo Thi Sau, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, the food court at night in front of Dong Ba market, etc.,have created important highlights, attracting a large number of guests to have fun and experience.
For tourism businesses, many tours and products have been exploited and have attracted visitors. The tour "Afternoon tea on the Huong River" is always full during the holidays. Although affected by the weather, visitors have the experience of enjoying tea and watching the rain, which is considered an interesting experience. Tours to A Luoi, city tour to explore the Hue city are exploited by businesses, attracting a significant number of visitors.
Resort tourism continues to be chosen by guests. Recorded at resorts, at such tourist area associated with health care tourism, the room occupancy rate reached 100%. The attached services are also used at full capacity.
According to statistics of the Department of Tourism, the number of visitor arrivals to Hue from April 29 to May 1 is estimated at 30,000; in which, there were about 18,000 guests staying and 167 international guests. Estimated revenue from tourism services is about 47 billion VND. High-star hotels recorded room occupancy rates from 95 to 100%. From the afternoon of May 1 onwards, the weather in Hue was rainy, so it has more or less affected the tourism situation.
As for the system of Hue monuments, in the first 2 days of the holiday, it attracted 23,418 visitor arrivals; in which, there were 229 international guests. Revenue from ticket sales reached 3.4 billion VND.
