On the afternoon of July 14, a delegation from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, and socio-political organizations, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, visited and encouraged officers and soldiers of Team 192, who are carrying out the “500 days and nights campaign to search, recover, and identify martyrs’ remains”.

From July 13 to 15, the University of Economics, Hue University hosts the 17th Annual Conference of Vietnamese Economists (VEAM 2026).

After nearly a decade of sustained cooperation with Kanto International Senior High School in Tokyo, Japan, Hai Ba Trung High School in Hue City has developed a meaningful model of international exchange. Through classroom lessons, experiential activities, charity programmes and homestays in Japan, students from both countries have not only deepened their understanding of each other’s cultures but also broadened their intercultural awareness, strengthened their appreciation of cultural identity and fostered friendship between Vietnam and Japan.

On July 11th, Vietnam's Ministry of Health, in coordination with Hue City People's Committee, Hue Central Hospital, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, organized a free health screening program for more than 1.000 residents in Binh Dien and Khe Tre communes. On the morning of July 10, Hue Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Acecook Vietnam JSC, held a press conference to announce ‘Hue - Culinary Capital 2026’ program under the theme ‘Hue Beef Noodle (Bun bo Hue) Day’. The event was co-chaired by Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang.

“Books and Ao Dai - Nurturing Intellect and Honoring Vietnamese Identity” was the theme of an exhibition held by the City Library on the morning of July 9 at No. 29A Le Quy Don St. (Thuan Hoa Ward).

From June 26 to 28, at 62 Trang Tien Street, Hoan Kiem Ward, Hanoi, the distinctive products, specialties, and cultural values of the Ancient Capital came together in the ‘Hue Thuong’ program, part of ‘The Vitality of Vietnamese Goods’ programme No. 8. The program not only brought the essence of Hue to the heart of the Capital, but also created a space connecting local products with consumers nationwide through a combination of in-person experiences and e-commerce.

Well-known Vietnamese entertainers Truong Giang, Le Duong Bao Lam, Ngo Kien Huy, Kieu Minh Tuan, Huy Khanh, and others, dressed in traditional ao dai, joined the ‘Bach Hoa Bo Hanh’ (Hundred Flowers Parade) to promote Vietnam's traditional attire and the cultural heritage of Hue.

Prestigious awards such as the Mai An Tiem Award and the CoopStar Awards, organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, are not only a recognition of innovative and creative efforts but also a driving force for cooperatives’ growth. This contributes to elevating the role of the collective economy, cooperatives, and the position of the Hue brand on the country’s economic map.
