On the morning of December 17, the Department of Tourism announced that the resort Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion (Hue) has just been named at the award by readers’ votes at Luxury Lifestyle Awards 2023 – The US) of Luxury Lifestyle – a prestigious magazine focusing on high-end lifestyle.

Traveling by train to experience fascinating things and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery has become a popular trend among tourists. The efficient operation of a daily tourist train service between Hue and Da Nang, and vice versa, to serve travelers and connect the heritage regions of Central Vietnam is eagerly awaited.

As a part of a series of activities and events of the Winter Festival within the Four Season Festival - Hue Festival 2023, on the evening of December 15th, the Department of Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the “Wellness Tourism Week” event. Within the framework of Hue Festival 2023, the Winter Festival "Winter in Hue" takes place from October to December with a number of new festival activities that brings more vibrance and attraction to the winter atmosphere of Hue for both local people and tourists.

On December 10, the Provincial Department of Tourism coordinated with Hue Monuments Conservation Center and related units to welcome a group of international cruise passengers on the Diamond Princess high-grade cruise to visit Hue ancient capital.

Tourism is entering the peak season for international visitors. To effectively attract visitors to Hue, the implementation of promotion and advertising work with the right focus is considered a top priority task.

On December 3, the provincial Youth Activity Center organized the Thua Thien Hue Province Children's Team Chess Open Tournament, competing for the Thien Bao Cup.

Despite of the onset of rainy season, when tourists are no longer rushing to seek tourist destinations, Thua Thien Hue is proactively attracting tourists in the last months with numerous winter tourism activities and products in Hue.

With its potential and strength in tourism and distinctive cultural features, Thua Thien Hue has just been recommended by Travel+Leisure Travel Magazine (The US) as one of the must-visit destinations in Asia that travelers should not miss in their journeys in 2024.

The international tourist market brings huge revenue to the smokeless industry of the province. If a good impression can be left on tourists, they are more willing to become tourism ambassadors who contribute to promoting the culture, landscape, and people of the land of the Perfume River and Ngu Binh mountain.
