Hue welcomes an international group of visitors arriving on a cross-Vietnam charter train

HNN.VN - On November 30, the Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Hue Railway Branch and Hong Ha International Travel Company (Lao Cai), organized a welcoming program for a group of visitors from China, arriving in Hue via a charter train on a nationwide tour.

The welcoming program aims to facilitate and create a positive impression for the group of visitors from China on the cross-Vietnam charter train, visiting and experiencing tourism in Hue from November 30 to December 1.

At the program, leaders of the Provincial Department of Tourism, the Tourism Promotion Information Center, and related agencies organized a flower and gift-giving ceremony to welcome over 400 passengers on the charter train No. SE10, which departed from Lao Cai and traveled through many provinces and cities before arriving at Hue Railway Station at 1:20 PM on November 30, 2024. The visitors in the group expressed their joy and emotion at the warm, friendly, and impressive welcome upon their arrival in Hue.

The provincial tourism sector also provided information and introduced the Complex of Hue Monuments, as well as other tangible and intangible world cultural heritage sites in Hue, famous scenic spots, Hue cuisine, and specific tourism products which is suitable for the Chinese tourist market...

This year, the railway sector has collaborated with tourism and travel service companies to organize 16 charter trains, serving a total of 7,000 passengers. In the coming time, the local tourism sector, in collaboration with relevant agencies, will strive to attract more international visitors to explore Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular by train.
