On the morning of July 10, Hue City Department of Tourism and Vietnam Aviation Academy held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the two units for the period of 2025 – 2030.

Hue is positioning itself as a green tourism destination. However, building and sustaining this brand requires more than just slogans or movements; it demands unity and responsibility from all stakeholders.

On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

Although young tourists do not spend a great deal, this is a growing segment that brings vibrancy and strong influence across social media platforms. Studying and effectively tapping into the young tourist market is essential for creating greater value in tourism development.

On the evening of July 8th, Hue City Tourism Association held a gathering to mark the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s tourism sector (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2025).

Hue City’s Department of Culture and Sports announced that the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to add two heritages in Hue to the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

In addition to other potential markets, the tourism sector of the ancient capital is intensifying efforts in promotion, branding, and positioning Hue in European countries. Through a variety of unique programs and activities, Hue’s tourism industry hopes to see strong growth in visitor numbers from this key market in the near future.

In 2012, I first visited Chi Linh - Hai Duong and toured Con Son pagoda. Having had the opportunity to visit and worship at many pagodas across Vietnam, Con Son pagoda left a deep impression on me from the very first glance, due to its scenery, its ancient charm, and an unexplainable sense of sacred understanding. Returning in 2025, that feeling remains as intact as the first time. I respectfully share with readers some photos of this ancient pagoda, which is over 700 years old. On the morning of July 2nd, Hue City Youth Activity Center hosted the 2nd Open Youth Taekwondo Tournament - 2025.

On June 29, a cultural exchange activity between Hue City and the cultural tourism delegation of Nanning (Nam Ninh) City (China) took place at Duyen Thi Duong Theater. This event marked the beginning of China - ASEAN cultural exchange program 2025 in Vietnam.
