The 2nd Hueba Jogging - 2025 held by the City Business Association, in collaboration with 75GROUP Investment & Development JSC took place on the morning of August 3, attracting the participation of over 4.000 runners. This was the final activity of the 3rd “Hue Sports Festival” – 2025, a sports day for community health.

On the morning of August 1, Hue City Red Cross held a conference to launch the project titled “Disaster response for animals in Vietnam”. This is the first time that this project has been implemented in Hue with the sponsor from World Animal Protection, an international organization.

Aiming to create a clean, friendly tourism environment for the health of the community, efforts to prevent and control the harmful effects of tobacco at accommodation facilities, hotels, and resorts in Hue City have recently been strengthened and effectively implemented. According to information from the Ministry of Education and Training, at the 55th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), held in Paris, France from July 17th to 25th, Tran Le Thien Nhan from Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted not only won a Silver Medal but was also named one of five global recipients of the “STEM for All” award presented by the Thales Group (France).

It was just another ordinary day at the Center for Nursing and Care for the Meritorious in Hue City - a place that welcomes revolution contributors, and policy beneficiaries each year. It is also a long-term home for dozens of war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs who have no one to rely on. The Center is currently caring for ten elderly women. Most of them live alone and have special circumstances, but here they are cared for with wholehearted attention and dedication.

On the morning of July 25, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a Continuing Medical Education (CME) course titled “Strengthening Integrated Management of Hypertension, Diabetes, and Stroke Prevention in the Community”; it also donated 2.000 electronic blood pressure monitors to health stations and people in the area.

With the theme “Bringing Green Home”, the “No Plastic Bag Month” event is receiving widespread support from Hue residents, helping to spread the message of reducing plastic waste while shopping.

On the afternoon of July 23rd , the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to evaluate the results of a non-state budget funded science and technology project titled: “Researching, expanding, developing, and harnessing the medicinal value of Abelmoschus Sagittifolius (Bo Chinh Ginseng), a valuable Vietnamese medicinal herb, to create a health-oriented material-products-gift set linked with scientific and cultural research in Hue City”, led by SBC Hoang Gia Co., Ltd.

Over 30 officers and soldiers from Regiment 6 in collaboration with the militia forces, promptly arrived at the place to help repair houses for local residents after a whirlwind struck the area of A Luoi 3 commune.
