Cotana Group donates 1 billion VND to help Hue recover from flood damage

Representatives of Cotana Group Joint Stock Company expressed their deep sympathy for the losses that the people of Hue City have suffered following the recent severe floods. As a business operating in the area, the company wished to join hands in sharing the difficulties faced by local residents and help them quickly stabilize their lives. The company’s representative also affirmed that Cotana Group will continue to accompany the city government in future social welfare and community support activities.

Speaking at the reception, Chairman Phan Thien Dinh provided information on the damage caused by the heavy rains and flooding that occurred in late October and early November 2025 across the city. At present, city leaders, along with various departments and sectors, have organized working groups to visit localities, assess the damage, and coordinate with local authorities to discuss practical and effective initial support measures.

Mr. Phan Thien Dinh expressed his gratitude for Cotana Group’s meaningful contribution during this difficult period, emphasizing that it is an important resource that will help the people of Hue overcome the consequences of flooding. The City Fatherland Front Committee, as the coordinating body, will promptly allocate and transfer the donation to localities and families affected by the disaster. It will also monitor the distribution process to ensure transparency, proper targeting of recipients, and encourage residents to use the support effectively to restore their lives.

On this occasion, Hue City People’s Committee presented a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Committee to Cotana Group Joint Stock Company in recognition of its noble gesture, spirit of solidarity, and practical contributions to supporting Hue people in overcoming difficulties caused by the floods.

The Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City also presented the company with a “Golden Heart” Certificate for its timely support to residents affected by the 2025 floods.
