Carlsberg Vietnam donates 1 billion VND to support Hue residents in flood recovery

A representative of Carlsberg Vietnam expressed deep sympathy for the losses suffered by Hue people, affirming that with a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility, the company wishes to join hands with local authorities to help stabilize lives and restore production in flood-affected areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Phan Thien Dinh said that the late October 2025 flood was among the most severe ones in history, causing deep inundation and extensive damage. However, thanks to the flexible operation of reservoir systems, the use of forecasting technology, timely direction, and the implementation of the “four-on-the-spot” approach, the city was able to proactively respond and minimize losses.

Chairman Phan Thien Dinh expressed sincere thanks to Carlsberg Vietnam for its continued companionship in the city’s development, not only through investment and production but also through its meaningful contributions to social welfare. He affirmed that the city would use the donated resources transparently, appropriately, and effectively, ensuring they reach the right beneficiaries and help residents soon stabilize their lives after the disaster.

After the ceremony, Chairman Phan Thien Dinh presented a Certificate of Merit from Hue City People’s Committee to Carlsberg Vietnam in recognition of the company’s practical contributions and noble spirit in supporting the city government and residents in overcoming the aftermath of the floods.
