Nurtured by the fire in a stilt house, enveloped in the lullabies of his grandmother and mother and the echo of gongs and drums from village festivals, Ho Pa Co A Teng was deeply imbued with the traditional cultural spirit of his people from an early age.

Hue and Nara, both are former Ancient Capitals of Vietnam and Japan respectively, are strengthening their cooperative ties amid a global trend shifting toward “local cooperation for global benefit”. On the morning of July 9th, Vietnam Airlines, in collaboration with Hue City People's Committee and Phu Bai International Airport, held a special ceremony to welcome a milestone flight in celebration of the 65th anniversary of Vietnam's tourism sector. The event also aims to respond to the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 and honored the airline’s 350 millionth passenger.

From July 5th - 8th, a delegation from Hue City, led by Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong, participated in the 47th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (WHC 47) held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France).

On the afternoon of June 19, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, held a working session with the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to discuss cooperation on investment promotion and expanding air connectivity, contributing to effectively operate Terminal T2 of Phu Bai International Airport.

On the afternoon of June 11th, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, met and held a working session with Mr. Kobayashi Yosuke, the newly appointed Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of June 10, the Ministry of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament at Hue Stadium. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, attended the event.

More than 1,000 people from all three regions of the country, wearing traditional and modern ao dai, gathered in Hue for a parade. All of this created a vibrant, colorful, and festive atmosphere right in the heart of Hue City.

On the morning of June 7th, Standing Member of Hue Party Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, Nguyen Thanh Binh, hosted a courtesy reception for a delegation from Honghe Prefectural Government (Yunnan Province, China), led by Vice Governor of Honghe Cai Hao.

On the morning of June 7, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, the People's Committee of Thuan Hoa District, and the City’s Tourism Association, organized an environmental cycling event themed “Ao dai passing down the streets” in 2025.
