On behalf of the leadership and people of Hue City, I would like to extend to you our respectful greetings and our sincere and heartfelt thanks for choosing Hue as your destination for sightseeing and relaxation during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the recent public holidays of Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1).

Your presence and support have not only contributed to creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere in Hue during the holiday period, but have also served as vivid evidence of the city’s enduring appeal, distinctive values, and increasingly recognized position on the tourism map of Vietnam and the world. Hue takes pride in being a beautiful land blessed with poetic natural landscapes, rich cultural and historical traditions, and a diverse heritage system, including eight tangible and intangible cultural heritages recognized by UNESCO.

In recent years, with its many potentials and strengths, the city has continuously innovated and organized a wide range of distinctive cultural activities, festivals, and events; developed new tourism products and experiences associated with heritage, cuisine, scenic landscapes, and community life; and promoted green, environmentally friendly tourism services. Notable examples include the nighttime art program at the Citadel linked to the heritage space, the expansion of tourism services toward coastal and lagoon areas, and upcoming artistic lighting projects for the Imperial City and along both banks of the Huong River. These efforts have contributed to positioning Hue as a destination for relaxation, exploration, and unique experiences.

We firmly believe that visitor satisfaction is the most important measure of a destination’s quality. Therefore, Hue City remains committed to prioritizing resources to improve tourism infrastructure, enhance the effectiveness of state management, and foster a safe, cultured, and friendly tourism environment. We also strive to listen to and accompany visitors in order to provide positive, high-quality, and memorable experiences in Hue.

Once again, we sincerely thank our valued visitors for your trust, your choice of Hue, and your affection for the city. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future to further explore the unique values of this ancient capital.

Best regards,

NGUYEN KHAC TOAN
