Over 60 students honored for outstanding academic and personal achievements

HNN.VN - On the evening of October 11th, Hue City Youth Union held a ceremony to honor recipients of the “Student with 5 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria” titles, and the “January Star” Award for 2025 at Hue FPT Education Complex in Thanh Thuy Ward.

In recent years, the student and youth movement in Hue has grown strongly, with creative and inspiring initiatives that have attracted wide participation, notably the “Student with 3 Good Criteria”, “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria”, “Student with 5 Good Criteria”, and “January Star” movements. Each of these titles represents a goal for students to strive toward, as well as a benchmark reflecting the standards of the new generation of learners.

For the 2024–2025 academic year, the Standing Committee of Hue City Youth Union decided to award the “Student with 3 Good Criteria” title to 15 members and students who have shown outstanding achievements in academics, ethics, and physical training; and the “Student with 3 Good Training Criteria” title to one student who has excelled in academic performance, vocational training, and physical fitness.

In addition, 20 outstanding students received the “Student with 5 Good Criteria”  title; 27 exemplary Youth Union and Student Association officers were presented with the “January Star” Award for the 2023 - 2024 academic year.

Within the framework of the program, authorized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam National Union of Students, Hue City Youth Union also partnered with Vietcombank - Hue Branch to present 10 “Vung Tuong Lai” (Firm Future) scholarships to disadvantaged but high-achieving students in the city.

A representative of Hue City Youth Union shared that the program is part of a series of activities celebrating the Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at all levels, in preparation for the 17th Congress of Hue City Youth Union for the 2025 - 2030 term and the 13th National Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for the 2026 - 2031 term. At the same time, the event served as an occasion to commend and honor outstanding Youth Union and Student Association officers, as well as students who have excelled in their studies and personal development.
