At Dang Tran Con High School (Phu Xuan Ward), First Secretary Bui Quang Huy presented a symbolic board representing 300 million VND in cash support and 3.000 sets of school supplies worth 300 million VND for children, youth, and residents of Hue City affected by the recent floods.

In addition, the Central Youth Union also provided 50 million VND to help Dang Tran Con High School repair flood damage, and awarded 20 scholarships (2 million VND each) to 20 students of the school who are from disadvantaged families and were affected by the floods.

Later the same morning, the delegation visited and encouraged Trinh Thi My Thuan, a teacher at Ton That Tung Secondary School (Thuan Hoa Ward). It is known that Ms. Thuan faces a difficult situation: she lives alone in rented housing while her husband works far from home. During the recent floods, her rental home was submerged more than 1,3 meters, causing severe damage to her household items.

To provide timely support and encouragement, First Secretary Bui Quang Huy presented flowers to congratulate Ms. Trinh Thi My Thuan on the occasion of November 20th and provided 10 million VND to help her rebuild her life after the disaster.

First Secretary Bui Quang Huy stated that these gifts not only carry material value but also reflect the affection, responsibility, and solidarity of Vietnamese youth in general and youth in Hue City in particular.

He hopes that this support will motivate teachers and students across Hue City to remain resilient in teaching and learning, and will serve as a source of encouragement for local children, youth, and residents to soon stabilize their lives.
