On the morning of January 10, the Youth Union of Hue Newspaper and Radio - Television, in collaboration with sponsors, including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau House Development Joint Stock Company (HODECO), and Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company, organized the “Supporting students to school” scholarship awarding ceremony for students in difficult circumstances in Dan Dien Commune.

In response to the appeal from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) has donated 2 billion VND to Hue City to help overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, typhoons and floods in 2025.

For more than two decades, Hue City Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin has not only accompanied and shared the pain of more than 3,200 victims, but has also served as a compassionate home. From policy support and helping rebuild homes to the fight for justice, the association’s journey is a testament to the power of humanity and the engagement of the entire political system on behalf of lives bearing the legacy of Agent Orange. ​

The 2025 Conference on Connecting the Consumption of Agricultural Products, Local Specialties, OCOP products, and Handicrafts in Hue City is being held by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support from December 26 to 28.

As the Central region had just suffered severe floods, many young music lovers in Hue chose to organize charity concerts, donating all proceeds to support their compatriots.

On the afternoon of December 17, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in coordination with the Tourism Development Support Fund and the Department of Tourism of Hue City, organized the National Conference on Net Zero Tourism in Hue. On the afternoon of December 15th, at the conference hall of Hue City People’s Committee, Vietnam Airlines (Vietnam National Airlines Corporation) presented financial and in-kind support of 1 billion VND and 2,000 warm blankets in total to Hue City to help address damage caused by recent storms and flooding.

On the afternoon of December 14th, at the People’s Committee of A Luoi 5 Commune, the City Border Guard Command, in coordination with its partner units, organized a gift-giving program to support people facing difficult circumstances and those affected by floods.

“Promoting the value of Hue’s local specialties through experiential tourism” was the theme of a specialized workshop organized by Hue Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Enterprise Support over 2 days, December 13 and 14.

On the afternoon of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh received and worked with a delegation from the city of Cergy (French Republic) led by Mr. Moussa Diarra, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation.
