Supporting Disadvantaged Students on Their Journey to School
HNN.VN - On August 20, the Women’s Union of Dan Dien Commune held a scholarship awarding program titled ‘Together with You on Your Journey to School’, providing support to 52 disadvantaged students in the commune ahead of the new school year.

In the framework of the program, 52 scholarships worth nearly VND 58 million were awarded to students. These included 12 annual scholarships and 40 scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year. Each package, consisting of notebooks, pens, and cash, will provide students with better conditions to prepare for the new school year.
‘Together with You on Your Journey to School’ is a practical initiative implemented by the Women’s Union of Dan Dien Commune to support and care for disadvantaged students. With contributions from the Foundation for Empowering Community Capacity, the awarded scholarships not only ease the financial burden on local families but also provide students with motivation and confidence to pursue their education.
Through the joint efforts and connections of organizations, partners, and the community, the program contributes to spreading the spirit of compassion and social responsibility. Furthermore, it highlights the role of the Women’s Union in caring for, protecting, and accompanying students, especially those facing difficulties on their journey to school.
