On September 22, the Department of Science and Technology organized a training session for the authors and representatives of 30 ideas and projects selected for the semi-final of the 2025 Hue City Creative Startup Competition.

On the morning of September 20, Hue University held the final round of the 8th Hue University Startup and Innovation Idea Competition 2025.

This was a key focus at the event “Tech Startup Day: Connecting the Technology Startup Ecosystem in Hue”, organized by the Hue Innovation Hub on August 29.

In a bid to support and accompany innovative startup projects and ideas, a range of programs, activities, and policy mechanisms have been implemented, delivering tangible outcomes for innovative startup products.

On August 13, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference titled “Orientation for solutions to develop an Innovative Startup Ecosystem in Hue City in the New Phase”. The event was held to foster the work of discussing, sharing, and offering solutions to agree on ways to promote local innovative startup ecosystem, helping it overcome challenges and reach new heights.

Already a familiar face among startup CEOs in Hue, this time I met with Ngo Duc Vuong - Director of Hue One Food Company, whose flagship product has been dubbed “Hue Pizza” - the Thuan An pressed rice cake. We chatted over coffee in Grand Prairie, Texas, as he continued his mission of spreading the story of Hue’s entrepreneurial journey through the pressed rice cake and promoting Hue culture in the U.S market.

On April 19th, the final round of the 7th Students with Startup Ideas Competition in 2025 officially kicked off at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. This event is part of the 7th National Startup Day for Students.

The Ministry of Education and Training has announced the results of the semifinal round of the 7th “Students with Startup Ideas” competition. Accordingly, 80 projects and ideas were chosen to the finals, including 50 projects and ideas from the university students and 30 others from middle and high school students.

On the afternoon of January 14, the Startup and Innovation Center - Hue University, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology and the Vietnam - Japan Association of Entrepreneurship (E-Future), organized the final round of the “Vietnam Startup Contest 2024” (VSC2024).

The “YES! Camp x Hue 2024” program, organized by Hue University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with CreBiz Factory (South Korea), is not merely a startup competition. It also fosters creative ideas, promoting the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship toward the goal of NetZero - a green and sustainable future for Vietnam.
