Hue City’s Department of Culture and Sports announced that the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to add two heritages in Hue to the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

On the morning of June 7, the Department of Tourism, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, the People's Committee of Thuan Hoa District, and the City’s Tourism Association, organized an environmental cycling event themed “Ao dai passing down the streets” in 2025.

After a week of activities, the 3rd Vietnam International Photography Festival, Hue - 2025, organized by the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, closed on the afternoon of May 28.

On April 21st, a delegation from Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Hue Monuments Conservation Center (HMCC) to discuss the National Target Program for Cultural Development.

As part of the World EXPO 2025 held in Osaka, Kansai (Japan), Hue City Department of Culture and Sports introduced the culture and history of Hue Ancient Capital to the world. Especially this year, Hue City is hosting Vietnam’s National Tourism Year 2025.

Hue Students Football Tournament 2025, competing for the Ba Na Hills Cup, kicked off in the afternoon of April 15 at the football field of Phu Xuan District’s Culture, Information & Sports Center (150 Nguyen Trai Street). On the evening of March 25, the opening ceremony of National Tourism Year (NTY) - Hue 2025 officially took place at the semi-realistic stage by the Huong River, marking the beginning of a series of cultural, sports, and tourism activities across provinces and cities throughout the country.

If effectively tapped, sports can become a “golden goose,” significantly contributing to the development and revenue growth of services and tourism in particular and the socioeconomic development of Hue in general.
