On the evening of March 21st, the opening ceremony of the first-ever “Vietnamese Martial Arts Festival - Hue 2025” took place at Ngo Mon Square - Hue Imperial Citadel, with the theme “Heroic spirit of the nation.”

Zeng weaving is a traditional craft that has existed for generations among the ethnic groups in the Western part of Hue City, and is a part of the unique traditional culture of the people there... As life depends on the mountains and forests and is close to nature, each Zeng product is not only a daily item and a spiritual item, but also a work of arts in the spiritual life of the people.

Thanks to technology, many delicious dishes from Hue have transcended the borders of their homeland. The unique flavors of the ancient capital are now finding their way to the East and the West, driven by the rise of e-commerce and the entrepreneurial spirit.

“Can Vuong Tremendous Spirit” was a program held by Hue Monuments Conservation Center in collaboration with Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities, and Ham Nghi Secondary School on January 1 at the exhibition space “Emperor Ham Nghi: Life and Arts” at Hue Museum of Royal Antiquities. Attending the program were 130 students from Ham Nghi Secondary School and Quoc Hoc Hue High school for the Gifted.

The “YES! Camp x Hue 2024” program, organized by Hue University Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in collaboration with CreBiz Factory (South Korea), is not merely a startup competition. It also fosters creative ideas, promoting the spirit of innovative entrepreneurship toward the goal of NetZero - a green and sustainable future for Vietnam.

The ceremony to honor the holy spirit of Mrs. Tran Thi Dao, who contributed greatly to the construction of the Thanh Toan tiled-roof bridge (Thuy Thanh Commune - Huong Thuy Town), took place on the evening of June 27th. The conclusion of the ceremony marked the official start of the “Countryside Market Festival” in response to Hue Festival 2024.

“I study garden houses as a connection between Vietnamese art and culture and a deep connection with the land and spirit of Hue. Hidden cultural features still thrive in the values and identity of Hue today,” said Professor and Landscape Architect Kimberlee Stryker (University of California, Berkeley) in her “Listening to the Gardens of Hue, Vietnam” 25 years ago.

“Vietnam’s national name is the invaluable spiritual and sacred asset of the Vietnamese people; it is the pride of every citizen of Vietnam. From the depths of our consciousness, I am proud to be Vietnamese," Duong Phuoc Thu, a researcher in Hue, shared on the occasion of the 220th anniversary of Vietnam’s national name.

Many young entrepreneurs in Hue are promoting their pioneering spirit, taking advantage of technology and knowledge to create new values for businesses.

The outdoor exhibition at Phung Tien Palace, Hue Imperial City offered viewers an opportunity to learn about the architecture, spiritual life under the Nguyen Dynasty as well as the cultural, historical and artistic values of this era through virtual reconstruction combined with reality.
