On July 18th and 19th, the 2nd Vietnam Hernia Conference took place at the Training and Direction Center of Hue Central Hospital, co-organized by the hospital and the Vietnam Hernia Society. This is an important scientific event, aiming to update and share clinical knowledge and experience in treating hernia-related conditions.

That was the theme of the national-level scientific conference organized on June 21 by the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hue City (Union of Associations) in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Department of Science and Technology, Hue Central Hospital, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, the Public Health and Preventive Medicine Association, and the Infectious Diseases Association of the city. The event gathered leading experts in health, environment, and agriculture - forestry from Vietnam and abroad.

This was the theme of the 2025 National Scientific Lighting Conference organized by the Vietnam Lighting Association in Hue on the morning of May 30.

On March 29th, Hue City Association of Diabetes & Endocrinology, in collaboration with Vietnam Association of Diabetes & Endocrinology, organized the 8th Ancient Capital Expanded Scientific Conference to update medical professionals on the latest advancements in treatment within this field.

On March 14th, the 2nd Scientific Conference on Intraoral Surgery, Maxillofacial Surgery, and Aesthetic Reconstruction was officially commenced. The event is organized by Vietnam Association of Oral and Maxillofacial & Aesthetic Surgery.

On the afternoon of December 18, a National Scientific Conference themed “Promoting the value of Hue traditional music in cultural and tourism development” took place at Saigon Morin Hotel. The conference was jointly organized by Thua Thien Hue Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations and relevant agencies.

On the afternoon of December 13, the Museum of Nature of the Central Coastal Region held a scientific conference on 15 years of establishment and on the orientation for the development of the Museum in the period of 2025 - 2030.

That is the topic of the 2024 LSCAC International Scientific Conference - “Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Context”, which takes place from November 22 to 24 in Hue. This event is held by Hue College in collaboration with Malang National University (Indonesia), Hyderabad University (India), University of Mahasarakham (Thailand), the Institute of Cultural Anthropology (Hanoi), and the Northeast Institute for Cultural and Arts Research (Thailand).

That was the theme of a scientific conference held by the University of Pharmacy and Medicine, Hue University on the occasion of 25th anniversary of the establishment of Odonto-Stomatology Department on November 9.

With the theme “Society and culture in Asia in the digital age,” the international scientific conference LSCAC 2024 - Language, Society, and Culture in the Asian Contexts - will take place from November 22nd to 24th in Hue city. This marks the first time Hue College has had the honor of co-hosting this event.
