After more than three weeks, the training program on Hue-Singing (Ca Hue) performance skills for more than 180 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, concluded on the afternoon of July 31.

More than 160 music teachers from primary schools across Hue City are participating in a training program jointly organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports and Hue City Department of Education and Training, which officially opened on the morning of July 8th.

Hue City's school sports delegation won 28 medals, including one Gold, 10 Silver and 17 Bronze medals, at the 2026 National School Sports Games, held in Lam Dong Province from June 20 to 30.

On April 9, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences organized the Dynamic Female Students Festival at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School. The event was held as part of the Institute’s project on promoting sports development for girls in secondary schools.

On April 5, the People’s Committee of Hoa Chau Ward officially opened the 1st Sports Festival for the 2025-2026 period. The event drew strong participation from a wide range of groups, including residential quarters, schools, and armed forces units, with the partaking of outstanding athletes who have achieved notable results at both city and national levels.

On March 28th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the City Chess Federation and the City Sports Training and Competition Center, organized the primary school chess tournament for the 2025-2026 academic year, competing for Huong Giang Cup.

On the morning of March 20, at Phu An Secondary School, Hue City Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the “Happiness for Children” communication program in response to the International Day of Happiness. The event drew the participation of representatives from various departments and agencies, local authorities, the school’s leadership board, parents, and 50 pairs of parents and students.

On the afternoon of March 6, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) held a conference on career guidance and enrollment for 2026. Attending the event were representatives of state management agencies, 51 high schools and secondary schools, as well as businesses and organizations involved in training and human resource development.

On the afternoon of January 9, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to review Physical education tasks in the academic year of 2024 - 2025, and deploy tasks for the academic year of 2025 - 2026.

The National Sepak Takraw Championship 2025 for elite teams officially opened on the afternoon of September 15th at the square opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. The tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture & Sports and Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation.
