On March 28th, at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with the City Chess Federation and the City Sports Training and Competition Center, organized the primary school chess tournament for the 2025-2026 academic year, competing for Huong Giang Cup.

On the morning of March 20, at Phu An Secondary School, Hue City Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, organized the “Happiness for Children” communication program in response to the International Day of Happiness. The event drew the participation of representatives from various departments and agencies, local authorities, the school’s leadership board, parents, and 50 pairs of parents and students.

On the afternoon of March 6, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) held a conference on career guidance and enrollment for 2026. Attending the event were representatives of state management agencies, 51 high schools and secondary schools, as well as businesses and organizations involved in training and human resource development.

On the afternoon of January 9, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to review Physical education tasks in the academic year of 2024 - 2025, and deploy tasks for the academic year of 2025 - 2026.

The National Sepak Takraw Championship 2025 for elite teams officially opened on the afternoon of September 15th at the square opposite Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted. The tournament is co-organized by the Department of Culture & Sports and Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation.

A training course on Hue Singing (Ca Hue) for secondary school music teachers in Hue City, organized by Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, opened on the morning of August 23 at Hue Intermediate School of Culture and Arts.

The community health sports festival “Hue Sports Festival” 2025 officially opened on the evening of July 20 at the square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, attended the event.

Gala hip-hop - Showcase Festival 2025 – Shining Vietnamese Smile kicked off on the night of July 20 at the square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. The event was part of the “Hue Sports Festival 2025” series, which was organized by Hue Media & Event Co., Ltd.

The 1st Hue City Yoga Open Tournament officially opened on the evening of July 12 at the square opposite Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted. This event marked the beginning of Hue Sports Festival 2025.

On the afternoon of June 10, the Ministry of Education and Training held the opening ceremony of the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament at Hue Stadium. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Member of the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee, and Standing Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee, attended the event.
