After nearly 70 years of construction and development, Hue University has affirmed its mission of training high-quality human resources for the Central - Central Highlands region and the nation.

The Chan May-Lang Co Economic Zone (CM-LC) has become an economic growth pole in Hue City. At the specialized session on “Green and Sustainable Tourism Development” held on the morning of June 6th within the framework of the 14th East Asian Local Government and Regional Conference, Hue affirmed its pioneering position in the region regarding the development orientation of environmentally-friendly tourism that harmonizes with communities and preserves heritage.

In the years from 1930 to 1937, painter Mai Trung Thu was appointed to teach drawing at Quoc Hoc High School. Here, his talent blossomed. Series of his paintings were born, depicting gentle Hue girls, the charming scenery of the Huong river and the temples and royal mausoleums. His paintings in Hue rendered him a solid position in modern Vietnamese painting.

On February 15, the Employment Service Center – the Department of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs held the opening ceremony of the Month of Job Fair in 2025 with the theme “Spring Connecting Jobs”. Over 200 workers and 35 enterprises joined the direct and online recruitment on the opening day.

On November 30, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Resolution to establish Hue City under the Central Government from January 1, 2025, and the Resolution on the restructuring of district and commune-level administrative units of Hue City, in the 2023 - 2025 period. Hue City (under Thua Thien Hue Province) will be divided into two districts: Phu Xuan and Thuan Hoa.

There are more than two months left until late 2024, but it can be confirmed that Thua Thien Hue's women's wrestling has had a brilliant year of success with the top position in many leading national tournaments.
